Job Overview: As a Shift Leader at Wendy's, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during your shift. You will lead and motivate a team of crew members, maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness, and assist in managing daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of crew members during shifts to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all Wendy's policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
• Ensure a positive customer experience by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns promptly.
• Monitor food preparation and cooking times to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in cash management and ensure accurate completion of daily financial paperwork.
• Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
