As a Close Manager at Wendy's, you will oversee the closing operations of the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient end-of-day process. You will be responsible for managing the shift, handling customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and leading the team to deliver excellent service and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Closing Operations:

• Supervise the closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is properly shut down, including cash handling, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Conduct end-of-day inventory checks and ensure all supplies are properly stored.

Team Management:

• Lead and motivate the team during the closing shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Address and resolve any employee issues or conflicts that arise during the shift.

Customer Service:

• Ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and that customer complaints are addressed promptly.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that the restaurant meets customer expectations.

Food Safety and Quality:

• Adhere to food safety procedures and guidelines to maintain the quality and safety of food products.
• Oversee the proper handling and storage of food items according to health and safety regulations.

Operational Efficiency:

• Monitor and manage shift performance to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
• Implement and follow company procedures to achieve operational goals and maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.

Administrative Duties:

• Perform cash reconciliation and ensure accurate reporting of daily sales.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports related to the closing shift and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a fast-food or retail environment is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and move for most of the shift.
  • Proficient in using restaurant equipment and technology.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and from the restaurant.
